Summary
As part of the Commercial Excellence Centre of Excellence (CoE), the Commercial Operations Specialist will support country and area commercial teams across APAC by executing key business processes in sales and service operations, commercial analytics, reporting, and process optimization. This role will focus on delivering high-quality, efficient, and standardized services, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, automation, and harmonization across the region.
Responsibilities
Service Delivery & Execution
- Execute core commercial operations processes on behalf of country/area commercial teams.
- Support the development and maintenance of process documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Commercial Analytics & Reporting
- The commercial operations should cover Sales Operations (Hospital contracts, rebates, pricing, bundle), Capital Equipment program management and Capital Equipment service operations. And Channel Partner team will focus on implementing those at the channel partner side.
- The focus for commercial operations should be acting as the process owner for the above mentioned function. Certain things should be removed from other functions, for example:
- Supply Chain – CE Tracking, pricing update in SAP
- FP&A – Pricing and rebate structure
- Accounting – tracking of sales rebate
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and recommend process automation, standardization, and efficiency improvements to enhance commercial operations.
- Collaborate with process SMEs and global teams to harmonize workflows and best practices across APAC.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Support monthly reviews with commercial leaders to track process performance, identify bottlenecks, and discuss enhancement opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in sales operations preferably in FMCG / Medical equipment / Pharmaceuticals company.
- Performance oriented, analytical, and sharp minded
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and BI. Familiarity with SAP is an advantage
