JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to expand our presence in the South Florida region. This role focuses on promoting Better Life’s durable medical equipment to healthcare professionals, including specialty physicians, physical therapists, and DME service providers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales, with experience in the medical equipment industry. We are looking for someone who is energetic, creative, and passionate about growing new business through prospecting while nurturing relationships with existing accounts through exceptional service.
SALES TERRITORY:
The territory covers the South Florida region, including major metropolitan areas like Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach. Occasional travel is required, though overnight stays are minimal.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers using both inbound and outbound strategies.
- Research potential clients and identify key decision-makers to generate new business opportunities.
- Identify and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals and performance expectations.
- Create and present quotes, as well as detailed product and service information to customers.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends, competitive products, government regulations, and technical developments affecting the DME market.
- Other duties as required to support the company’s business objectives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience. Prior experience in DME or related medical sales is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and strong computer skills.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proven ability to manage a sales territory by analyzing and overseeing pipeline activities.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver professional presentations to clients.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel locally as needed.
