Role Description
Overall Objective:
The Therapeutic Sales Specialist represents LEO Pharma Inc. within an assigned territory with the goal of maximizing product sales through transferring a strong value proposition for biologics / dermatology portfolio to stakeholders. The Therapeutic Sales Specialist will target and promote LEO therapeutic products to Dermatologists, general practitioners and other healthcare providers in order to grow the LEO business and achieve company objectives.
This position will be covering Northern Manhattan.
Responsibilities:
- Promote LEO Pharma's biologics/dermatology portfolio to dermatologists, general practitioners, and healthcare providers
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals in the assigned territory
- Articulate the value proposition of our products and differentiate them in the market
- Continuously gather market intelligence and adapt sales strategies accordingly
- Coordinate the distribution of product samples and promotional materials
- Complete required training and administrative duties accurately and on time
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; sales/marketing or science related degree preferred
- Requires 2+ years Pharma, Biotech or Medical Device sales experience
- Dermatology, Specialty or Immunology experience required; selling sub-cutaneous self-injectable (or office administered IC) biologics experience preferred
- Proven, documented record of consistent sales success in complex markets; product launch experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information; advanced clinically based selling skills
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $125,000.00 to $155,00000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the LEO Pharma range for this position. Salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
