The
Technical Sales Representative is primarily responsible for selling High Purity Water Treatment Systems and Services into Healthcare, Laboratory, Commercial, Light Industrial, and Light Manufacturing Applications. To be successful in this role, you will ensure existing customer accounts are maintained to their fullest potential and grow your customer base through prospecting and converting competitively held accounts.
Requirements
- Develop and execute strategic sales plan for territory to gain market share from existing competitively held customer accounts within the markets defined above.
- Account Management: Establish and maintain contact with key personnel among assigned existing clients that result in the expansion of current business activity
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to build contacts, meet with prospects/leads, and to gather and present information to specific clients
- Expand customer base through prospecting, discovery, proposal generation and closing sales of High Purity Water Systems (Capital), Service De-ionization Exchange (SDI), Service contracts and Aftermarket
- Problem Solve through the performance of proper discovery to understand customers' requirements and needs, including data collection and interpretation, and assist in defining the correct solution.
- Assist in defining, describing, and gaining customer acceptance for scope, price, process modifications, improvements and other related scope during the sales cycle and execution of work
- Meet sales targets on a routine basis by meeting or exceeding key metrics for revenue, account retention, and profitability.
