Performance Health is seeking a Director of National Accounts to join our team. The Director of National Accounts will work with the leadership team to create winning contracting strategies that drive profitable growth. Success depends on a laser focus of the appropriate customers, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO's), and large chain customers, to ensure Performance Health products are on contract and those contracts drive customer penetration. Relationships are paramount to build, nurture, and leverage customer relationships in execution of the strategy.
Managing the contract lifecycle is a critical part of this leadership position. Using data analytics, the national accounts team will manage pricing tiers, tied to customer purchasing compliance, as well as fee and rebate management. GPO contracts are used to price products in our market segments and have a significant financial impact on the company. This role will have responsibility of working with the finance organization to model contracting options for new or renewed contracts.
This is a remote based position. The candidate must live in Chicago IL, Charlotte NC, or Dallas TX.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Secure desired GPO contracts and/or contract renewals
- Meet or exceed annual revenue targets
- Set and execute the GPO growth strategy and vision
- Create a sales engagement strategy that drives contract compliance
- Provide executive leadership to advance the national accounts strategy
- Prioritize the various potential areas of focus, leveraging sales and marketing efforts to drive growth
- Establish and maintain customer and influencer relationships that will endure for decades to come
- Plan and execute tradeshows and events
- Create and execute launch plans for new products
- Administer GPO compliance process (GPO validations) to ensure targeted growth
- Build annual revenue forecast and update forecast monthly
- Enforce pricing violations and other unauthorized behavior among customer base
- Design and deploy customer promotions and programs to drive demand
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience/relationships with Vizient, Premier and HPG among other GPOs
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- 10+ years of experience working in healthcare sales; including national accounts experience
- Strong business acumen and experience leading national accounts teams
- Proven success achieving revenue targets
- Strong experience in GPO Management
- Strong working knowledge of GPO compliance

- This is a full-time position with a base salary range of $150,000 - $170,000 plus the opportunity to earn commission and bonus, plus benefits.
