About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Area Sales Director with experience selling to the orthopedic private practice and acute health care settings to join our team. This is a huge opportunity to be part of a company which is in high growth mode! (Note the ideal candidate for this role should reside in the Great Lakes Region of the U.S.)
Reporting into the SVP of Sales, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the expanded awareness and adoption of the Brijjit BP-100 and BP-75 within the orthopedic and plastics markets. You will be the point of contact to ensure seamless integration of BRIJ into both medical practices, working closely with them to understand their needs and optimize their experience with BRIJ. Working with both new and experienced users of the device, you will help make a difference in patient outcomes!
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving sales within both orthopedic and plastics private practice and acute health care settings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with administrative/ support staff, nurses, PAs, Surgeons, and other personnel in the Health Care Provider systems.
- Educate and train clinicians and Healthcare Providers (HCPs) on the benefits and effectiveness of BRIJ Medical products
- Succeed in reaching quarterly sales quotas via direct sales influence, as well as leading any relevant distributor relationships in the specified territory.
- Develop a concise, focused sales strategy for both the orthopedic and plastic markets targeting potential customers within the Great Lakes Region.
- Gain a deep understanding of wound closure, would support and the scar therapy process.
- Track all sales management activities within company CRM, Salesforce in a timely manner.
- Attend trade shows and other networking events
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 4 years of professional or related experience
- Experience in the OR, partnering with orthopedic surgeons a must.
- Knowledge of the medical / hospital markets
- Persistence, resilience, and accountability
- Relationship development skills
- Genuine personality – you will be making a huge difference in patient’s lives
- Valid driver’s license with active, current auto insurance
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.
- Needs to live within the assigned territory.
