JOB SUMMARY:
The Territory Manager plays a key role in the entire lifecycle of EndoSoft’s relationship with the customer including but not limited to prospecting, sales, training, and after sale service of EndoSoft solutions. The Territory Manager will work with clinical and IT staff to determine ideal workflows using EndoSoft applications which seamlessly integrate with existing electronic health record systems.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Proactively seek new business opportunities by targeting healthcare providers, hospitals, and other related sectors.
Product Presentation & Demonstration: Conduct engaging product demonstrations, both in-person and virtually, highlighting the value and capabilities of our medical software solutions.
Sales Strategy Execution: Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets by identifying key opportunities in the market.
Account Management: Build and nurture relationships with healthcare organizations, ensuring customer satisfaction and product success. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, providing ongoing support and communication. Assess customer needs based on their established workflow and identify upselling, cross-selling and upgrade opportunities.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to continuously refine sales approaches.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
Reporting & Forecasting: Track sales activities and report on performance, providing regular updates to management on key accounts and pipeline.
COMPETENCIES:
- Oral Communication – Territory Managers must be able to effectively and persuasively communicate with prospects, clinical staff, IT, purchasing and healthcare administrators.
- Listening - Must be an excellent listener and can share customers thoughts with EndoSoft management.
- Written Communication – Must have the ability to write clearly and concisely, adjusting style based on the specific needs of each recipient. Presents proposals and numerical data effectively.
- Must be self-motivated, detail orientated, and a multi-tasker with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Must work in a CRM system daily.
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory and as required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of both customer and EndoSoft information
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position is an individual contributor role.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is a remote position requiring working from a home office, while being able to travel to customer facilities on a regular, weekly basis. Employees are expected to maintain their home workspace in a safe manner, free from safety hazards. Consistent with the organization's expectations of information security for employees working at the office, remote employees will be expected to ensure the protection of proprietary company and customer information accessible from their home office. Steps include the use of locked file cabinets and desks, regular password maintenance, and any other measures appropriate for the job and the environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The physical demands to successfully perform the essential functions of this job are as follows:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keypad and cell phone, reach, pick up, move, stoop, kneel to install related computer equipment and software installs.
- Ability to manage the stress associated with weekly field travel and territory management.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
POSITION TYPE/ EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a Full-Time Exempt position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Territory Managers need to be available when prospects and customers are available. Days and hours of work, including travel to customer locations will vary.
TRAVEL:
Ability to travel 60% of the time, both planned and on short notice, primarily domestic but on occasion international.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience selling, supporting and / or working in the medical field.
- Clinical Knowledge of the primary space of Gastroenterology, Electronic Health Records, and a working knowledge of the healthcare industry is helpful.
- Valid Driver’s License, reliable automobile transportation and ability to maintain automobile insurance a must
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (as applicable with state law).
