About the role:
The Division Sales Operations Director will lead the Division Strategy and Compensation teams. This high impact, fast paced role, will be responsible for leading data strategies and commercial strategies through data driven insights and actionable analytics. This is a highly collaborative, strategic role that partners across the commercial organization to maximize effectiveness of the field sales organization through strategic analytics, strategy development and execution tactics. This role will report directly to Vice President, Cardiology Sales Strategy. The Sales Operations Director will be expected to travel 25% - 40%.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and develop a high performing Strategic Sales Operations team to meet organizational goals.
- Lead and manage a team of four high performing mangers and team around 40 people.
- Provide leadership on all aspects of Sales Operations to team members: commercial strategy, sales compensation, quota setting, sales awards, sales analytics, budget management, and program management.
- Lead Strategic Plan and Annual Operation Plan deliverables.
- Provide direction in setting overall selling budgets and guidelines.
- Define annual and quarterly organizational goals.
- Provide field sales leadership with reporting to run the business.
- Develop commercial strategies to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Influence acceptance of key commercial strategies through use of data driven storytelling.
- Define, delegate, and manage strategic projects to improve business performance.
- Work with VPs of Sales and VPs of Marketing to maintain knowledge of the industry and the competition to modify and prioritize sales training strategies along with other strategic projects.
- Lead a team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals. Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable, drive those practices throughout their organization.
- Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements).
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of professional experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience combined in the areas of sales operations, finance, sales and sales training
- Minimum 2 years’ experience combined leading teams in the areas of sales operations, finance, sales, and sales training
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Vision and leadership skills required to drive change across commercial sales organization
- Proven successful track record in the identified areas of focus sales operations, finance, sales, and sales training
- Ability to travel 25% - 40% (based upon location of individual)

Work Mode:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring this employee to work out of our Maple Grove, MN office at least three days per week.
