POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to oversee and enhance our commercial team in a designated region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing a team of Business Development Specialists, and driving revenue growth while ensuring customer satisfaction. RSM will be responsible for coaching, teaching, and developing our customers and BDS’s while displaying our Core Values of EQ, Grit, Growth Mindset and Sincerity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and company objectives.
• Team Leadership: Effectively manage the Rockstar Activity Process through the entire team. Train and mentor, a high-performing sales team. Provide ongoing coaching and support to drive performance in our Core Accounts and New Customer Acquisition.
• Data Analysis: Identify new opportunities, trends, and competitive activities within the region. Effectively communicate these trends and expectations during regular 1:1’s with direct reports.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Sales Forecasting: Prepare and analyze sales forecasts and reports to monitor performance and adjust strategies as needed.
• Budget Management: Oversee the regional sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize sales outcomes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Experience, Accounts Receivable, Sales Admin, and Operations to align strategies and enhance customer experience.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate the sales team's performance, providing feedback and support to achieve individual and team goals.
• Travel: Regular travel within the region will be required to meet customers and support the sales team.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Research prospective customers and identify key players to generate interest and new business.
• Manage creation and presentation of quotations as well as product and service information.
• Maintain an understanding and awareness of product knowledge, competitive market, industry trends, government regulations, and technical developments that impact industry.
• Attend state, regional, and national Trade Shows
• Perform other duties as required by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field or 4+ years of industry experience.
• Proven experience as a Sales Manager preferred, with a track record of achieving sales targets or 5+ years of previous B2B experience with proof of consistently exceeding quota.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse sales team.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Proficiency in NetSuite software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven experience achieving Rockstar Activity Status.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work across diverse personalities and agendas at various level of seniority in organizations to achieve goals.

Compensation reflected in this posting is a combination of base salary and bonus/commissions. It is the target compensation for the first year, at plan achievements.
