Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead sales efforts in New York State. The RSM will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, acquiring new clients, and managing key accounts. This is a management-level role, and the RSM will oversee an Account Manager, ensuring the team delivers exceptional results and client satisfaction.
Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in medical sales or the health and wellness industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Growth & Revenue Achievement:
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the New York region.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Identify, prospect, and close new accounts, emphasizing Vibrant Wellness's portfolio with a focus on integrative, preventative, and longevity medicine.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with healthcare practitioners, ensuring satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Manage and mentor a Client Account Manager, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and providing ongoing coaching and support.
- Lead by example, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
Market Development:
- Represent Vibrant Wellness at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities.
- Leverage market insights to identify growth opportunities within the integrative, functional, and longevity medicine markets.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including clinical education, marketing, and operations, to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM tools (preferably HubSpot), tracking leads, activities, and sales performance metrics.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in medical sales, diagnostics, or the health and wellness industry.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
- Strong background in team management, with experience mentoring and overseeing direct reports.
- Familiarity with the integrative, functional, and longevity medicine markets is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as HubSpot is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Must reside in the state of New York, preferably in the New York City metropolitan area, and be open to travel within the region.
