Position Summary
The VP of Sales is responsible to optimize sales, market share, revenue growth and profitability in both the short and long term, with key retail and institutional accounts in the Generic pharmaceutical marketplace. The VP of Sales will be the primary contact for key customers for the company in all sales, industry, and or government related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, industry influencers, and strategic partners
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans with key accounts to support Company sales and revenue targets
- Responsible for all product launches to key retail and institutional accounts
- Perform analysis and implement strategies to optimize market share for all new product launches
- Forecast and track sales trends, analyzing collected data for planning purposes
- Prepare and present sales reports to executive leadership, detailing sales performance, opportunities for growth, and other key metrics
- Oversee and manage National Sales Manager
- Collaborate with marketing and business development departments to understand and promote the company’s product offerings
- Manage and oversee activities performed by Natco’s Customer Service Team
- Be the primary contact for the key customers to present new company initiatives and ensure compliance with Natco’s customer base for all new mandated customer or industry mandates
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or MBA preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years of sales and marketing experience in the generic retail and or institutional marketplace
Specialized Knowledge/Skills
- Proven ability to develop relationships at all levels with internal and external stakeholders, specifically in a matrix environment
- Strong working knowledge of Key US retail and institutional buying group platforms
- Foundational knowledge of the supply chain process
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
