Position Summary
This position requires an individual who is highly motivated, sales drive, and able to develop and build strong, lasting, professional relationships. Also requires strong leadership and team building qualities to manage area sales team.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all sales staff in a specific geographic area, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Enforce company policies
- Recruit and hire future Sales Representatives
- Train/motivate the sales force
- Oversee community events planning and opening of new service areas
- Complete competitive analysis
- Meet or exceed set sales goals
- Perform outreach (health fairs, office presentations, etc.)
- Work with Director of Business Development for area strategic planning
- Work with community liaisons on all marketing promotions
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly manages two or more employees in the sales department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Requires 3+ years of management experience. Would prefer a nurse with experience in sales for this position.
This position reports to the Director of Business Development.
