About the role:
The core objective of this role is to lead a team to deliver relevant medical education to ultimately improve evidence-based clinical practices and patient outcomes in the interventional cardiology space. Medical education will be provided to all healthcare practitioners including fellows, practicing physicians and allied health professionals across a variety of platforms to create accessibility to educational content.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with internal teams to plan and implement high quality physician medical education at scientific congresses or Boston Scientific-sponsored programs (advisory boards, educational programs, symposia, digital physician education).
- Identify ongoing educational and project needs. Create and oversee the implementation of the identified projects and ongoing educational needs in partnership with key stakeholders. Act as a core team lead and provide consultation on various internal and/or field-related projects with cross-functional teams
- Develop new content and delivery of educational initiatives taking into consideration newest clinical and scientific data on the product lines
- Investigate and analyze ongoing training needs and develop training plans and programs that meet the changing needs and priorities of the business while partnering with leadership
- Lead in process improvement projects by driving program effectiveness and ensuring overall stakeholder satisfaction from a content and educational perspective
- Advance scientific and educational objectives with appreciation of commercial landscape.
- Set strategy to partner with key opinion leaders in interventional cardiology on educational objectives.
- Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in data pertaining to all marketed and pipeline products, as well as a solid knowledge base of current data developments in relevant fields of assigned technologies.
- Create, customize, and prepare physicians to present scientific educational content
- Provide excellent cross-functional collaboration across all levels of the organization to present a united front to customer.
- Seek to globalize educational initiatives to execute locally
- Provide direct leadership and professional growth of team members through guidance, coaching and development
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in medical device industry or 5 years with advanced degree
- Fluency in understanding and interpretation of clinical data
- Ability to travel up to 30%, primarily domestically with limited international travel.
Preferred qualifications:
- Technical or clinical knowledge in the cardiovascular space
- Experience in developing educational programs and KOL management
- Previous track record of building relationship with key opinion leaders in medical field
- Previous experience in medical device education, product marketing, field clinical engineering or commercial, customer facing roles
