The successful candidate will set a vision for the Healthcare Products segment with an eager mind-set towards achieving sales targets, while being a motivational force in aiding operational directives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Bottom line responsibility for the activities and results of the Healthcare Products segment
- Combine a blend of strategic business initiatives with a keen eye and daily practice towards operations, engineering, new product development, new product implementation, marketing, sales and achievement of business goals
- Develop and execute business, marketing, and sales plans to achieve sales targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify, develop and realize new product opportunities for growth and improvement
- Lead a team of sales and product development professionals for business segment development, growth alignment, and achievement of segment objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and industry influencers to best understand their business goals and needs
- Collaborate with the marketing team to effectively develop and utilize value propositions through presentations, collateral, and proposals
Core Qualifications:
- BS in Business Administration, Business Development, or Project Management or relevant experience required
- 7+ years of progressive experience with medical devices, preferred in the dental market
- Proven experience in department budget development and P&L management activities
- Proven experience with creating selling opportunities in the digital space (e.g., Shopify)
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong spreadsheet and database skills across all levels of the organization
- Working understanding of dental procedures and the required instruments desired
- Be self-driven by taking ownership, leading, and growing the Healthcare Products segment
- Understanding and adapting priorities with a sense of urgency
- Working knowledge of the skills needed to successfully sell medical devices, preferably in the dental market
- Possess the drive to find and develop new customers, grow existing product sales, and drive new product introductions and sales
